In addition to the scientific programme, the annual meeting offers a variety of opportunities to connect, collaborate, and engage. The parallel programme features (business) seminars, courses, group meetups, and more, complementing the core programme to enhance your experience. Popular events like the Student Lunch Seminar and Job Event provide informal settings to foster connections and spark meaningful discussions.

Showcase your talents or discover future hires!
The Job Event is the place for students or early-career professionals and organisations to meet, connect and discuss interesting job opportunities during a dynamic speed dating format. There will be ample time to network during the provided breakfast, both before and after the speed-dating sessions. Don’t miss this unique networking opportunity and make lasting impressions!
Costs
- Registration fee for students and early careers: 10€ (50€ to be paid during registration – 40€ will be reimbursed at the job event).
- No participation fee for organisations (exclusive event for SETAC partners).

Student/Early Career
Students or early career scientists who wish to sign up for the job event can do so during the registration process.
- Add the job event to your meeting registration. Don't wait too long, as spots are limited and are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
- After registering, please ensure your spot by filling out the application form (only accessible after registration) which includes submitting a short video (max 3 minutes) introducing yourself before 1 April.
Note: Your place is confirmed only after registering, adding the job event ticket and submitting the form and video. Once received, we will send your confirmation together with the programme. If we don’t receive all the required materials, your registration for the job event will be cancelled, and spots will be offered to the waiting list.

Enjoy a night of dancing and fun with fellow SETAC students and professionals.
Get ready to mingle, unwind, and make memories with colleagues from all over the world, while dancing the night away at the club! Altough organised with students in mind, we’re turning up the energy and inviting all attendees (non-students) to join the fun. Don't miss out on the ultimate gathering for both students and professionals alike.🎶

How to get there?
Muziekgieterij is located just a 5-minute walk from the city center and is easily accessible by public transport, with the nearest bus stop at Boschstraat/Maagdendries. The entrance is at the back of the building, located at Richie Backfireplein 10, 6211 AE Maastricht. You can access it through the stairs next to Filmhuis Lumière.
