The First-Time Attendee Programme connects participants attending the SETAC Europe Annual Meeting for the first time, fostering valuable networking opportunities and creating meaningful connections among fellow newcomers. By emphasising relationship-building, the programme ensures you have a strong support network from the very start, helping you feel welcomed and engaged as you begin your SETAC journey.

What to expect:

  • Networking with peers: Participants are grouped based on shared professional interests, enabling you to connect with others in your field and explore opportunities for collaboration.
  • Pre-meeting connections: Contact details will be shared in advance, allowing you to arrange meet-ups and plan your experience at the meeting.
  • Guidance and tips: Together with the Student Advisory Council, SETAC will provide practical advice on navigating the meeting and making the most of the broader SETAC network.

How to participate:

This programme is complimentary. To participate, please express your interest as a first-time attendee during registration before the early bird deadline of 17 March.
