Final Call for Nominations for the SETAC Global and Europe Awards

The nomination cycle for the SETAC Global and Europe Awards Program is approaching quickly. 

Applications for the SETAC Europe awards can be submitted by Wednesday, 23 January. The SETAC Europe Awards program is soliciting nominations for the Outstanding Science Career Award, which recognizes contributions to environmental sciences over a longer period, and the Young Scientist LCA Award, which focuses on achievements in the field of life cycle assessment by scientists younger than 35. Lastly, the Early Career Scientist Award recognizes the accomplishments of early careers defined as up to three years after the completion of an undergraduate or postgraduate degree. 

Nominations for the SETAC Global awards are due Wednesday, 31 January. Please consider colleagues who deserve recognition and nominate them for a Founders, Fellows, or an Exceptional Service award. The ICA/Chris Lee Award for Metals Research, which provides $5000 to a graduate student whose research focuses on the fate and effects of metals on the environment, is also closing on 31 January.
