SETAC North America Annual Meeting Moves to a Four-Day Schedule
The SETAC North America Board of Directors has decided that as of this year, the SETAC North America Annual Meeting will be condensed into four rather than five days. The change reflects attendee and exhibitor feedback, including extended time away from the office or laboratory, travel costs, meeting fatigue, and reduced participation on the final day.
By eliminating weekend programming, most attendees can now travel on Monday, minimizing disruptions to personal schedules and helping reduce overall travel and accommodation costs.
Professional training courses and symposia will be offered on Monday, followed by the opening ceremony and reception. The following three days will feature daily plenary presentations; morning and afternoon platform, poster and exhibitor sessions; along with an exciting parallel program full of networking and social events. The scientific program remains fully intact, with all accepted presentations accommodated in a more focused timeframe and exhibits running throughout the core program to support consistent engagement.
As such, the SETAC North America 47th Annual Meeting will now take place from 2–5 November in Montreal, Quebec. View the preliminary daily schedule and visit the meeting website for the latest updates. We look forward to seeing you in Montreal!
