Mark your calendars for the next SETAC Europe 27th LCA Case Study Symposium, taking place from 19–21 October 2026 in the beautiful city of Bruges, Belgium.

The symposium will be hosted at the Bruges Meeting & Convention Centre (BMCC), a modern, sustainable and accessible venue located in the historic heart of Bruges, often referred to as the “Venice of the North” and designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site. This setting offers the ideal backdrop to connect past and future while discussing the role of Life Cycle Assessment in steering sustainability transitions.

The symposium will bring together the European life cycle community from various sectors to exchange the latest research, applications and discussions in Life Cycle Assessment. The general theme, “Designing Tomorrow: From Life Cycle Assessment to Sustainability Steering in Key Value Chains,” will focus on exploring and advancing innovative approaches in sustainability assessment.
