Call for Sessions Open for the SETAC Europe 27th LCA Symposium
Mark your calendar for 19–21 October 2026 for the SETAC Europe 27th LCA Case Study Symposium, taking place in the charming city of Bruges, Belgium. The call for session proposals is now open.
This year’s symposium focuses on the theme “Designing Tomorrow: From Life Cycle Assessment to Sustainability Steering in Key Value Chains” and invites session proposals that reflect the broad and strategic scope of life cycle assessment (LCA) in supporting Europe’s sustainability goals. The life cycle community is encouraged to shape the scientific program by proposing sessions that highlight innovative research, practical applications and emerging topics in sustainability assessment. The symposium aims to foster dialogue and collaboration among researchers, practitioners and decision-makers across various disciplines and value chains, showcasing how LCA can serve as a strategic tool for navigating sustainability transitions.
If you have advanced knowledge of a specific topic relevant to LCA and are passionate about sharing that knowledge, consider becoming an active participant by proposing a session by 14 January 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to advance your topic in the field and take on the role of a session chair for the SETAC Europe 27th LCA Symposium.
In addition to becoming a session chair, take a look at the exhibitor and sponsorship opportunities to showcase your organization to the life cycle community.
