Grant Opportunity Available to Support Biodiversity Scientists at SETAC Montreal
SETAC North America, in partnership with Global Vistas Foundation (GVF), is offering meeting attendance grants to support conservation scientists working in biodiversity hotspots, particularly those based in low- and middle-income economies, as classified by the World Bank. The grants provide recipients an opportunity to share their work and engage with the scientific community at the SETAC North America 47th Annual Meeting, taking place from 2–5 November in Montreal, Quebec.
To be eligible, applicants must be first authors of research focused on environmental protection, conservation or conservation education, present their work at the meeting, and commit to attending the full conference. Students, postdocs and early- and mid-career scientists may apply. SETAC will select winners by reviewing submitted abstracts using a standard scoring rubric. The grant includes economy-class travel, 4–5 nights of lodging, per diem and meeting registration.
Applications are due by 3 June.
