Get Involved in SETAC Europe: Apply for the Board or Join a Committee
SETAC Europe thrives thanks to the dedication and engagement of its members. If you are looking to take a more active role in the Society, there are currently two exciting opportunities within SETAC Europe to get involved.
You can apply to join the SETAC Europe Board of Directors and help guide its strategic direction and governance, or volunteer for a SETAC Europe committee, where you can contribute to specific initiatives and areas of expertise.
Board of Directors Applications
The SETAC Europe Board of Directors plays a central role in guiding SETAC Europe’s strategic direction and ensuring effective governance. Help shape the future of SETAC Europe by contributing to its leadership and strategy, and apply to stand for election by 17 April.
Joining the Board provides a unique opportunity to influence the future of SETAC Europe, engage in strategic decision-making, and collaborate with a diverse group of professionals.
Please visit the website to learn more about the roles and responsibilities of the Board as well as the available positions, eligibility criteria and application process. SETAC Europe full members can apply by 17 April.
Committee Member Applications
SETAC Europe committees are at the heart of SETAC Europe’s activities, providing expertise and support across a wide range of areas, from science and education to diversity and inclusion, awards, finance, and regional engagement. Join a SETAC Europe committee and share your expertise to help guide the Society’s initiatives.
Serving on a committee is a great way to contribute to topics aligned with your interests, share your perspectives, and expand your professional network.
Explore the different committees, discover available positions, and find where your expertise can contribute most. Applications are open to SETAC Europe full members until 26 May.
This year’s call also includes a newly established committee, the SETAC Europe–European Commission Sounding Board (SEECOS), which aims to strengthen the connection between SETAC Europe science and European policy development.
Whether you are interested in strategic leadership or hands-on involvement in specific topics, both opportunities offer a meaningful way to contribute, connect and grow within the SETAC Europe community.
