The SETAC Europe Young Scientist Awards
include the best platform and the best poster award. One award for the best
oral presentation and another for the best poster presentation are given at the
SETAC Europe Annual Meeting.
ECETOC Best Platform Award
The ECETOC Best Platform Award honours the early career scientist with the best
platform presentation at the SETAC Europe Annual Meeting. The award winner is
invited to the Annual Meeting and is offered the opportunity to submit the
manuscript for publication in Environmental
Toxicology and Chemistry (ET&C) with the page charges paid by SETAC
Europe. She/he has also receives a free SETAC membership.
Tom Feijtel Best Poster Award
The Tom Feijtel Best Poster Award is sponsored by the Tom Feijtel Fund, established
in memoriam of Dr Tom Feijtel (+2005) who was a driving force for the
advancement of environmental science within his company Procter & Gamble,
but also a significant contributor to the science debates in ECETOC, CEFIC, LRI
and the European Union.
The award honours the early career scientist with the best poster presentation
at the SETAC Europe Annual Meeting. The award winner is invited to the Annual
Meeting and also receives a free SETAC membership.
