SETAC Webinar to Highlight Global Metals Regulations
SETAC will host an upcoming webinar, “Metals Regulations From Around the World,” featuring a series of presentations focused on regulatory developments and bioavailability-based approaches to metals management across multiple regions.
Beginning at 11:00 EST on 24 March, the webinar will include an update on the European Union Water Framework Directive presented by Lara Van de Merckt (European Metals), as well as a discussion on the implementation of bioavailability-based metal guidelines in Australia and New Zealand from Adam Ryan (International Zinc Association). Wataru Naito (National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, AIST) will provide an update on bioavailability-based approaches for metals in Japan, and Howard Winbow (International Zinc Association) will present on global critical raw materials.
Together, the presentations will offer attendees an opportunity to learn about evolving regulatory frameworks and key considerations shaping metals management worldwide.
