SETAC Journals Announce Strengthened Data Requirements
To support reviewers, SETAC journals are no longer accepting submissions without data. When submitting manuscripts to the journals, please upload data in one of the following formats:
- As Supporting Information that will be published online alongside the article
- As an “Additional File for Review but NOT for Publication” for review purposes only
- In a repository of your choice, and include a Data Availability statement with a URL to the data (note that this may affect double-anonymous peer review)
- A Data Availability statement that all data are available in the article
- If none of these options are available, then please add a Data Availability statement to your title page stating why the data are unavailable to reviewers
