Save the Date for SETAC Africa 2027

Mark your calendar and start planning your trip to Dar es Salaam! The SETAC Africa 13th Biennial Conference will bring the SETAC community together from 26–30 September 2027 in Tanzania under the theme "From Science to Solutions: Advancing Environmental Stewardship, Chemical Safety and Public Health in Africa."

From science and policy to practical solutions, the conference will explore environmental challenges and opportunities across Africa, covering topics such as climate resilience, biodiversity, chemical safety, pollution prevention, sustainable development, One Health, emerging contaminants, capacity building, and equitable access to environmental science. Explore the conference tracks and scope to discover the full range of topics included in the scientific program.

Have an idea for a session or wish to contribute to shaping the scientific program? The call for session proposals will open in mid-October, with the submission deadline in December. More information and key dates will be added as planning progresses.
