Interest and Affinity Groups Now Open to All Members

The SETAC World Council voted to open all SETAC Interest Groups and Affinity Groups to all members, including free, explorer and full. This change reflects the society’s commitment to inclusivity and to foster collaboration within the scientific community.

Interest Groups and Affinity Groups offer valuable opportunities for members at every career stage to connect with peers who share a passion for a specific topic. By broadening access, the Council aims to foster the exchange of ideas and support diverse perspectives in environmental science. These groups are member-driven, and increased participation supports the society’s vision of Environmental Quality Through Science®.

It is easy to get envolved. Members must be logged in and have a current account. Then, they can browse available groups and click the join button on a group's homepage.
