The SETAC North America Board of Directors has established the Science Policy Advocacy Affinity Group. Whether you are new to advocacy or already actively engaged, the Affinity Group provides an opportunity to learn about science policy issues, explore avenues for advocacy, share resources and connect with fellow members.

The Science Policy Advocacy Affinity Group will focus on science policy issues aligned with SETAC advocacy priorities, including:

• Safeguard funding for scientific research and the scientific workforce
• Support education and training in environmental sciences
• Advance science-informed environmental management
• Protect scientific integrity and transparency
