Each year the President of SETAC North America may identify individuals for special recognition at the SETAC North America Annual Meeting. Often, these individuals have worked behind the scenes to promote and support the activities of the Society. The selection of individuals is at the discretion of the President. However, members of the Society may nominate and present candidates to the President for consideration. Recipients of the Presidential Citations are recognized at the SETAC North America Annual Meeting and receive a certificate acknowledging their special contribution.
