SETAC Europe Awards include the Young Scientist Award, the Environmental Education Award, and an award for the Best Publication. The Long-range Research Innovative Science Award is an ecotoxicology research grant. Each of these awards or grants is evaluated by separate guidelines but maintains the intent of the Society's award process. Unless an award or grant specifies otherwise, candidates may 1) be self-nominated or nominated by an individual or group; 2) may be from the Europea, Asia/Pacific, or Latin America geographic unit; and 3) be SETAC members or non-members. Recipients of these awards are announced each year at the SETAC Europe Annual Meeting, during the awards ceremony.
