Dr. Randy Jordan has over 33 years of progressive experience as an environmental scientist with project and technical program management roles, and working with environmental consulting firms, companies, and attorneys as an independent consulting expert. His experience spans across a variety of project types, including but not limited to CERCLA-based environmental investigations and remediation projects, Natural Resource Damage Assessments (NRDAs), environmental research, field investigations for oil spill responses and damage assessment, and marine baseline monitoring programs. Responsibilities have included litigation support, forensic evaluations, program-level technical management, project management, and quality assurance for environmental programs. He is experienced in planning and managing investigation and remediation projects, supported with successful team building and effective communication skills with all involved parties, including public interest groups. Scientific expertise includes chemical fate/transport and forensic characterization of various environmental media for weathering and source determinations pertaining to oil spills, pipeline releases, and other oil and gas sector operations; polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) source evaluations pertaining to site impact from former manufactured gas plant (MGP) facility operations; and releases of chlorinated hydrocarbons. Fate and transport evaluations have included PAHs and metals in various aquatic systems. Most of his project locations have been in Hawaii, Alaska, the Pacific Northwest, California, and the Gulf Coast. At Haley & Aldrich, Randy’s primary focus areas include working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary litigation support and contaminated sediment project teams across company offices and client/project locations. He provides environmental forensic and other high-level environmental chemistry support to a variety of service areas and project types and supports business development activities.
