About Aina
Aina Wennberg has a background in chemistry and microbiology and has been working as a research scientist at NIVA since 2010. Her areas of interests include biodegradation testing, persistence assessments, prioritization of chemicals and risk assessments, and she is GLP study director for biodegradation testing. She is chair of the SETAC Persistence Science Interest Group and competed her PhD on improvements of persistence assessment in 2026.
