About Latin America

SETAC Latin America is a geographic unit of SETAC, established in 1999 to promote and undertake activities of the society in Latin America.

Within SETAC Latin America the regional chapters include Andean Countries, Argentinian Chapter and Chilean Chapter. Each chapter is a separately incorporated entity, organized to address the needs of SETAC members at the local level.

SETAC Latin America also maintains a strong collaborative relationship with Ecotox Brasil since 2011 and encourages its members to participate and engage there as well.
