Endangered Species and Cultivated Landscapes

Centered in North America

The Interest Group (IG) focuses on the overlap in regulating pesticide registration and use (primarily the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act, FIFRA), and the laws protecting endangered species (primarily the Endangered Species Act, ESA) under the laws of the United States (U.S.), as related to food security and production and listed species preservation. The issues transcend the U.S. since many countries rely on U.S. registration for registration or use in their own countries.
