Advisory Groups

SETAC Advisory Groups provide a vital forum for professionals in the environmental sciences. The groups’ activities range from sponsorship of platform and poster sessions at annual meetings to proposing and supporting workshops and books on current topics, including the second edition of the book "Ecotoxicology of Amphibians and Reptiles” and the workshop "Ecotoxicity of Nanomaterials.” SETAC Advisory Groups also provide valuable input to international forums and conventions, such as the Strategic Approach to International Chemicals Management (SAICM), the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the Stockholm Convention and potentially the Global Convention on Mercury.

How to Join an Advisory Group

Being part of an Advisory Group gives you the chance to participate in special sessions or networking events at an annual meeting, in focused workshops, in online exchanges, or to contribute to books or journal articles. Participation in an advisory group is open to all interested parties. Once you are signed in to your SETAC account, navigate to the advisory group of your interest and click "Join Group” near the top of the page.
