Ready to Slam? 

Think you have what it takes to turn your research into an unforgettable performance? Apply now for the SETAC Science Slam!

  • Step 1: Sign up and fill out this application form by 30 October.
  • Step 2: Upload a short video by 10 December to introduce yourself and your slam concept.

The organisers will review all submissions and select five finalists to perform live on stage in Maastricht. All applicants will be notified of the outcome by mid-January.

Tips for Your Application

  • The more creative and out-of-the-box approach, the better
  • Imagine explaining your science to a seven-year-old—clearly, simply, and in a fun way
  • Props are welcome
  • Teams are allowed; however, stick to one topic only
  • It doesn’t have to be perfect, but it should be engaging and entertaining
  • Please note, we are not looking for traditional scientific talks or promotional presentations of products
