Life-cycle thinking is new to the working environment, but more and more companies are recognizing the potential impacts of their internal conditions, both within and outside their boundaries. During 6 meetings over a 3-year period, the authors reviewed existing methods, included 4 case studies, and produced suggestions for a common framework for integrating the working environment into LCA.
