SETAC meetings and workshops are key elements of the Society's global science program by providing a forum where scientists, managers, and other professionals exchange information and ideas for the development and use of multidisciplinary scientific principles and practices leading to sustainable environmental quality.

In this section you can learn more about our well-attended annual meetings in key regions of the world that generally encompass a broad spectrum of topics. SETAC’s global and regional focused topic meetings and symposia are addressing more specific scientific issues such as the Gulf of Mexico oil spill, endocrine disruption or life cycle assessment. Please see types of SETAC Sponsored Events Matrix for differences.

Known and respected for its preeminent workshops, in particular those described as Pellston workshops, SETAC brings together leading experts from academia, business and government to address relevant environmental topics with proceedings published as a peer-reviewed report, book or journal article compilation.

SETAC branch and regional chapter meetings help promote Environmental Quality Through Science® on the local level, but each group is administered independently. Thus, the information listed or materials present in regards to the meetings does not necessarily have the endorsement of the parent Society.

For more information, contact the SETAC office.
