Submit a Session Proposal for SETAC Toronto and Help Us Celebrate 40 Years of Environmental Science
Friday, November 16, 2018
Before SETAC was founded in 1979, no forum existed for interdisciplinary communication among those interested in advancing environmental issues. We are celebrating the anniversary of this hallmark event at the SETAC North America 40th Annual Meeting from 3–7 November in Toronto, Canada. Aptly, the meeting theme is “Great Together: Separate Challenges and Collective Solutions.” The meeting aims to emphasize the need for environmental scientists and managers from all sectors to work together at a global scale to address shared environmental challenges. Under such a paradigm, discrete technical advances would ideally be leveraged to create harmonized approaches towards mutual solutions.
Be part of the solution and join scientists from around the world to advance environmental quality by submitting a session proposal to the meeting. Proposals should address timely environmental science issues and relevant topics and be informed by the meeting theme.
Accepted session formats include traditional platform and poster sessions, spotlight sessions and alternative formats such as poster corners, interactive posters, educational games or activities, debate sessions, storytelling, campfire sessions and more.
The deadline to submit a session proposal is 20 February.
