SETAC 2016 Singapore – Advancement of Science Blended with Excitements of Singapore

We invite you to join the SETAC Asia/Pacific 2016 Conference from 16–19 September 2016 in Singapore. This is the first SETAC conference in the Southeast Asia region, one of the fastest growing economies in the world and at the center of Asia/Pacific.



This 3-day international conference, convened by SETAC Asia/Pacific at the National University of Singapore (NUS), brings together scientists, assessors, regulators and managers from government, business and academia to meet the challenge of “Managing Environmental Quality in the Asian Century.”

The conference will facilitate knowledge sharing and discussion of emerging research, regulatory developments and the latest methodologies in environmental toxicology and chemistry, driving development of science-based strategy and policy to meet both known and emerging challenges in managing and sustaining the quality of the environment in this rapidly developing region.

Formula One – Singapore Grand Prix

The Singapore Grand Prix motor race takes place on the Marina Bay Street Circuit. Night time racing has been a feature of Formula One (F1) events held in Singapore since the inaugural night race in 2008, which was the first-ever F1 night race and the first street circuit in Asia.
