What Is Your One Takeaway from SETAC Vancouver?

So, you’re back at work, school, home office, lab, field site, lecture hall, wherever it is your daily routine resides after a successful SETAC North America annual meeting in Vancouver, Canada. With daily chores and busy lives, it is easy for the excitement to fade away from the science you heard, the people you met, the friends you connected with, or the lessons of a professional training course.

To reclaim the momentum, SETAC North America President Mary Reiley is asking you to identify "the one thing" that engaged you at the SETAC Vancouver meeting and lit your enthusiasm.

Her one take away from Vancouver is to stay actively engaged, to have more regular communication with members that is easy, engaging and fun. Therefore she started the SETAC North America President’s Blog.

Please join her online, and share with her that one experience, so that together we can reclaim that excitement.

I liked the sessions (platform & poster) on nanomaterials and ionogenic chemicals very much. I shouild also add that this was my first SETAC NA meeting and I was a bit disappointed with the organization (I have attended several SETAC EU meetings and they are invariably better organized).
