Thanks for posting these for use by the team.  I wonder if the group thinks it would be useful, for any of our topical contributions, to highlight and discuss points in these references before they get used in the papers.  I particularly think this might be helpful for the Tainter  et al. book chapter but depending on how the topical teams are planning to take up these ideas, such an exercise might be useful for any ideas the groups may take up.
