SETAC has been instrumental in developing and
publishing seminal documents in the establishment
of LCA as a global, standardized, and science-based
method for inventorying resource consumption and environmental
burdens and for characterizing those consumption and
burden footprints according to their impact potentials.

two peer-reviewed journals, Environmental
Toxicology and Chemistry and Integrated
Environmental Assessment and Management, that
