SETAC Contaminated Soils Advisory
Group
The mission of the SETAC Contaminated
Soils Advisory group is to:
- Provide a forum for the discussion of issues and
development of scientific methods and approaches related
to the evaluation of contaminants in soils;
- Emphasize the chemical, physical, and biological
factors that may affect the availability and mobility
of organic and inorganic chemicals; and
- Direct scientific inquiry to provide better information
on exposure for use in risk assessments, development
of environmentally protective or acceptable endpoints,
site or product management, and fate and transport
studies.
