2008 ET&C Best Student Paper Award

This award is given annually to the best published (or accepted) student paper during the past year. In order to qualify, the senior author must be a member of SETAC and be a student or recent graduate reporting on research conducted as a student, but not postdoctoral research.

Qualifying papers accepted for publication in Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry are sent to the Student Presentations Committee of the Awards and Fellowships Committee together with the review comments from the Editorial Board of the journal for selection of the best paper.

To be considered for this award you must:

• Indicate at the time of manuscript submission if the paper is to be considered for this award.
• Submit a letter to the SETAC North America Office requesting that the paper be considered for the selection process and briefly describe the author's contribution to the paper.
• Submit a letter of recommendation from the author's advisor supporting the author's contribution to the paper.

The awardee will be announced at the SETAC North America 29th Annual Meeting in Tampa, Florida, 16 - 20 November 2008.
